Get ready for a week of non-stop excitement, learning, and inspiration! This year, we’re bringing you not one, not two, but THREE incredible esteemed and honoured artists of Ukraine. This is your chance to train with the best, push your limits, and elevate your skills like never before!

Whats included?

Train 3-4 hours daily, mastering ballet and character techniques with top instructors.

Immerse yourself in Ukrainian crafts, music, and games, then unwind with sports and beach time.

As night falls, gather for bonfires, our "So You Think You Can Dance" competition, and a live performance by the legendary Rusalka.

Cap it all off with the Grand Zabava Dance Party, where the energy is high and the dancing never stops!

To be on the receiving end of 3 esteemed and honoured artists of Ukraine knowledge, passion and expertise is a real gift. Rusalka is extremely excited and honoured to welcome Dmytro, Mariia and Kostiantyn to lead at our summer dance camp 2025.

  • Dmytro Bodyan

    Sevastopol, Ukraine

    Dmytro, a renowned Virsky dancer, has dedicated his life to Ukrainian dance. As an Honored Artist of Ukraine, he spent over 15 years as a soloist with the P. Virsky National Dance Company.

    In November 2024, amid the ongoing war in Ukraine, Dmytro, his wife Masha, and their young son Marko immigrated to Canada, leaving behind their homeland and professions as Virsky dancers.

    A highly respected educator, choreographer, and festival jury member, Dmytro has led masterclasses at Yaskrava Kraina, Hopak Camp, Spirit of Virsky, and Yellow-Blue Heart.

    Now based in Toronto, Dmytro continues to inspire as a classical dance instructor at Olimpium Gymnastic Club.

  • Mariia Bodyan

    Kyiv, Ukraine

    Mariia, an Honored Artist of Ukraine, spent 18 years as a soloist with the P. Virsky National Dance Company and later taught folk-stage and classical dance at the Kyiv Ballet School.

    Passionate about preserving Ukrainian dance, she and her husband Dmytro co-founded @danceofukraine, an Instagram platform uniting and inspiring Ukrainian dancers worldwide.

    With extensive experience as an instructor and workshop leader, Mariia specializes in folk choreography and technical elements of Ukrainian stage dance.

    Now in Toronto, she continues to share her expertise as a classical choreography instructor at Olimpium Gymnastic Club.

  • Kostiantyn Frolov

    Luhansk, Ukraine

    A principal dancer and soloist with the P. Virsky National Dance Company (2010–2025), Kostiantyn lives and breathes Ukrainian dance.

    As an Honored Artist of Ukraine, he has performed Virsky’s most iconic pieces, including Povzunets, Podolianochka, Dolls, Volyn Polka, Shevchyky, Dzvinochky, and Chabany.

    Kostiantyn has also toured Canada with Virsky, performing alongside Shumka in Nutcracker and Clara’s Dream in Edmonton.
